JIBS conducts training programmes on different themes

 

Professor (Dr.) Sanjeev P. Sahni, Principal Director, Jindal Institute of Behavioural Sciences and Dr. Tithi Bhatnagar, Assistant Professor & Joint Director, Jindal Institute of Behavioural Sciences conducted a session for a one day Teachers Training Programme on Stress Management and Performance Enhancement at Kolkata on May 11, 2019 for multiple schools. 120 teachers and Principals and 45 schools participated.

 

Dr. Bhatnagar conducted a session for a one day Teachers Training Programme on Stress Management and Performance Enhancement in which around 100 teachers participated on May 17, 2019 at Karnal, Haryana.

Dr. Bhatnagar conducted a one day Teachers Training Programme on Understanding Subjective Wellbeing for Effective Relationships on May 21, 2019 at Modern School, Sonipat, Haryana. There was participation of 21 teachers from the same school.

Shivjot Gill, Doctoral Research Fellow, Jindal Institute of Behavioural Sciences was felicitated by the Vice Chancellor and Director Sports, Department of Sports, Government of Punjab for her achievements in shooting Sports in 2016-2017 at International Hockey Stadium, Chandigarh on May 12, 2019 and was awarded a cash prize of Rs. 70,000. Shivjot represented India at World University Shooting Championship in 2016 held at Poland and won Silver medal at All India inter-university shooting championship (Shotgun, Women Skeet Event) in the year 2017. Presently, she is pursuing her PhD in Sports Psychology under the Supervision of Professor (Dr.) Sahni and co-supervision of Dr. Mohita Junnarkar, Assistant Professor and Deputy Director, Jindal Institute of Behavioural Sciences.

Professor (Dr.) Sahni and Dr. Mohita Junnarkar, Assistant Professor and Deputy Director, Jindal Institute of Behavioural Sciences conducted a session for a one day Teachers Training Programme on Stress Management and Performance Enhancement at NC Jindal School, Punjabi Bagh, Delhi on May 15, 2019. There was participation of 150 Teachers and 11 schools.

 

 

Dr. Junnarkar and Dr. Kulpreet Kaur, Assistant Professor, Jindal Global Business School and Fellow, Jindal Institute for Behavioural Sciences conducted sessions on Psychological Counselling Skills and Best Teaching Practices on May 16, 2019 at St. Marks Sr. Sec. Public School, Meera Bagh, Delhi with 85 teachers participating from the same school.

Professor (Dr.) Sahni and Dr. Junnarkar conducted a session for a one day Teachers Training Programme on Stress Management and Performance Enhancement at Witty World School, Mumbai on May 20, 2019. There were about 250 participants.

Jindal Institute of Behavioural Sciences in association with Jindal Institute of Leadership Development & Executive Education organised the five days Teachers Training Programme on Effective Teaching Skills for Educators from Bhutan from May 21 to 25, 2019 at JGU. There were 27 participants comprising teachers and senior officials from Ministry of Education, Royal Bhutan Government. There were 11 sessions conducted during the five days along with educational tour and school visit to Modern School, Sonipat.  Yoga, meditation and Zumba classes were also conducted for the participants.

Professor (Dr.) Sahni delivered an expert talk on Stress Management on May 24, 2019 at Birla Vidya Mandir School, Nainital, Uttarakhand.

Dr. Manjushree Palit, Associate Professor & Additional Director, Jindal Institute of Behavioral Sciences conducted a session for teachers on Emotional Intelligence at SOS Hermann Gmeiner School, Bhimtal, Uttarakhand and a programme for teachers on Stress Management at Birla Vidya Mandir School, Nainital, Uttarakhand on May 24, 2019.
